The study of nutrition had become more prominent in recent years as food supplies have in western parts become plentiful. As the available food choices has increased so has the need to understand what these choices involve and how they affect your health. You can book an appointment to discuss your diet - including a full written report on improvement suggestions - or you can purchase a nutritional guide from the Fitness Shop including updated revisions which keeps you abreast of all the major talking points. The two treatment options are:

  • General Advice
  • Sports/Training Advice

General Advice Appointment

Prior to this appointment you will be asked to keep a food and drink diary. The consultation and resulting report will:

  • Analyse your eating habits and trends
  • Look at ways of changing your eating habits and trends
  • Explain the effect each food group has on your body
  • Discuss the right amount of each food group for your lifestyle
  • Consider the correct nutritional requirements for you to lose/gain/maintain your weight
  • Give you a personal fat percentage reading
  • Advise on what you need to change and how to stop cravings

The emphasis is on long term change rather than quick solutions.

Sports / Training Advice Appointment


Prior to this appointment you will be asked to keep a food and drink diary. The consultation and resulting report will examine:

  • The types of food you need to eat to improve performance
  • The types of food you need to eat to aid recovery
  • The correct amount of fluid you need to drink
  • When you need to drink performance drinks
  • The right amount of each food group post exercise you need to eat
  • Calculating your nutritional requirements
  • Your fat percentage reading
